THE SAUNA STUDIO "WHERE WE MAKE THAT HEAT"

The studio is less like work and more like fun. We actually enjoy what we do. The perfect job is doing what you enjoy and getting paid for it. Even on vacation we still work! We cant help it, either jotting down ideas in the CrackBerry, or humming melodies and singing hooks in mini recorders. Never forget a great idea, have a way to remember it so we can lay down when we get back. Inspiration can strike at anytime. It is incredible to have your own lab and be able to record great ideas while they are fresh and vibrant.

THE WRITING PROCESS

Some would say great lyrics is the single most important component to making a hit record. Therefore, when we write we like to go in with that mentality. Great writing is a non- stop process. We jot down methaphors, ideas and ways to use them whenever something pops in our heads. Then when we hit the studio, the music influences our creativity from a writing standpoint with whatever sound we produce that day. We study other people's sounds and write tailor-made songs that's conducive to their style with an "UGLY" twist to it.
